Hypnosis works by getting the body into a relaxed state, by having one imagine something very relaxing.  This allows the brain to shift and be ready for additional suggestions from the hypnotist.  The brain is able to go back to earlier years and retrieve information that we don’t even realize is there.  It will then use that information.  By this time we have already bypassed the conscious mind so that we can communicate with the subconscious mind.  This is where we are able to make the changes very quickly, by seeing things in a different light or way. When you are in this mild trance, your conscious mind has allowed the subconscious to become the one running the show.  It is your direct access to the subconscious mind, where positive suggestions can be planted and negative memories and be altered.   The information stated on this website is to show hypnosis as it truly is. The hypnotist does not possess any type of magical powers or gifts, but has learned how to guide the subconscious mind to accept the suggestions and then act on those suggestions in a positive, helpful way.

Everyone experiences hypnosis differently.  As you continue to use hypnosis you may experience a deeper session from time to time. How deep into hypnosis you go, does not make a difference in the benefits…Your experience all depends on how open and willing you are…Most of the time you will feel deeply relaxed and comfortable. By the end of the session you will feel refreshed, just like awakening from a nap.  You will become fully alert, and feel very rejuvenated and re-energized.

There is no danger of a person failing to come out of the hypnotic state. In fact, it would be impossible to remain hypnotized. Even if the hypnotherapist left the office while an individual was in the hypnotic state, there would be no danger. The person would drift into a natural state of sleep and/or would awaken after he/she was rested.

Statistics show that close to 99% of the population can be hypnotized. Most people are hypnotized at some point of their day and they don’t even realize it. I have not yet found a person that wants to be hypnotized whom I have not been able to hypnotize.  It comes down to… Do you want to be hypnotized or does someone else want you to do it? Like I tell my smokers….You have to want to stop smoking for you, not your spouse, family or friends.

You may think that the sessions are expensive, but if you compare the rates of others in this type of profession, the rates are comparable if not extremely reasonable. A professional therapist charges approximately $150 to $250 for a session (which is only approximately 45 minutes) and requires months of sessions in order to make any changes in the client’s life. I spend a full 1.5 – 2 hours of one-on-one undivided attention with each client for approximately the same price per session. I am able to obtain quicker results while requiring fewer sessions. You will notice and experience change very quickly with hypnosis. Calculate it for yourself and I believe you will agree that my fees are absolutely worth your time and money.

When you are hypnotized, you are aware of all suggestions given to you, and you will not do anything that you are opposed to doing. Remember, your mind is the most powerful asset you own. Once you decide that you want something and your subconscious is notified of that decision ……nothing and no one will have any power over you, you are the one that is totally in charge of you.
